We are a proud Veteran owned business and supporter of the Second Ammendmenet
Can I schedule training?
Yes, we offer Mantis and CCW Training System sessions by appointment. to both individuals and groups
What safety measures do you follow?
Safety is a priority in every service we provide. Our CCW and Mantis training utilize laser-based training technology rather than live ammunition, allowing students to develop and maintain firearm handling skills in a safe, controlled training environment. This approach is suitable for new shooters, experienced firearm owners, and ongoing skill development. Once again I must reiterate, CCW Training is not about SHOOTING, it’s about learning how to be a reasonable firearms carrier and staying within the law and out of trouble, we only touch on the Mantis Training system as a tool that a student may use later as means to improve their actual shooting skills
CCW & Training Questions
Do I need a firearm to attend?
No our CCW classes do not use live weapons we use the Mantis TitanX Laser Training situation for more in-depth insight into your habits and technique to see and show strong points and weaknesses and how to address those issues Your CCW Class ($125.00) includes your 4 hour class that covers all the Arizona requirements and the test to obtain your CCW, in addition we provide free finger printing (normally $20.), your CCW application, an introduction to the Mantis and TitanX laser system and your approved CCW certification training certifcate and application instructions.
Does the CCW Training Meet the Arizona CCW Requirements?
Yes it does and you will be issued an accepted training completion certificate after passing the mandatory written test, (a minimum passing score of 70% is required)
What is a CCW Class and how does it differ from Mantis?
Great question: let me first say that CCW Training is not about shooting at all it is about learning about the responsibility and the pitfalls and legality of owning and carrying a firearm in accordance with Arizona State laws, we only use the Mantis Laser System to give basic familiarization to handling a firearm with things like grip control , presenting the weapon , very basic safety and handling tips, keeping in mind that many of our students have never picked up a weapon and have heard all kinds of horror stories and also watch too much TV, and the Mantis /TitanX is used to give our students a little insight into their strengths and weakness so when they finally do actually pick up a real firearm, they will at least have a foundation to build on, for more in-depth training on sight picture, holster draw analysis, shot no shot situations we offer the actual Mantis training class and the Mantis TitanX system which is available should a student want to take the basics to the next level or improve their current skill level , it is highly recommended they do that but again it’s not required for CCW training and certification
How does Mantis Fit Into the CCW Taiming?
The Mantis system is strictly introductory and is used to help the student understand things such as grip control, presenting the weapon when acquiring a target, trigger control etc. we offer a complete training session on the Mantis system for at an additional fee for anyone interested in improving their skills without the additional expense and waste of ammunition.
Should I bring a firearm or ammunition to your CCW Class?
No you should not bring any firearm or ammunition to our class it is not allowed for everyone’s safety, and liability. Save it for when you are actually ready to go live fire at a range and once again shooting is not a requirement of CCW it is the responsibility aspect we are dealing with in these classes.
What should I bring?
You should bring yourself along with a good attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to improve you skills if you are already a shooter, in not then you are learning from the beginning.
Does Arizona require live fire?
No, they do not in fact many CCW trainers are concerned about the safety and liability issues associated with live fire training also the difficulty in finding a live fire range that is accessible and available when needed some CCW classes only require watching about 3-4 hours of video class online, taking the required test and scheduling an interview. I introduce students to the Mantis Training System as a brief overview to identify issues that may need work this, is not a video training it is live instruction we utilize the lates technology to give you the most training and benefit keeping safety as a top priority for you and others

Mantis Training Systems
Is the Mantis Laser System Expensive?
Unfortunately, no you don’t, however I am a Mantis Dealer Trainer and they are very affordable to own (typically our TitanX system is under the regular suggested MSRP of $245.00) and I usually keep a couple on hand and can order them for you if you would like one for yourself , remember several family members can use and train with the same system , most people report an improvement within about 2 weeks of regular training with the system and that saves a lot when going to the range and using live ammunition because you aren’t wasting your shots. All the Mantis systems are available and a separate Mantis Training class can be provided at extra cost if a student would like but honetly the system is very simple and user friendly and was designed for the student/shooter that is looking to improve or to keep their skill level up on their own, remember shooting is a perishable skill (use it or lose it in other words)
Do we as students recieve a free Mantis TitanX Laser System if we attend your CCW Class?
No when put into perspective its actually very cost efficient, it uses the latest technology in a familiar well recognized format/platform, the software is continually evolving and it saves you money along the way and its 100% legal Our CCW students may be entitled to a discount if they purchase a Mantis or TitanX system varies by system purchase
